Featured Solid wood table w/brass features...junk or treasure?

    Appreciate your thoughts on this end table/ night stand. Any thoughts on if this is junk or something worth considering? It's for sale for $50. Thank you!!

    Advertised as, "Solid wood, sturdy dove tail construction. Has black finish with Asian style brass medallion on doors and brass capped feet. Shelf inside is removable. Excellent condition. Can be used as end table, night stand, TV stand, plant stand.

    $50 isnt a bad deal,it looks solid and has great lines. I especially like the brasses. id paint that sucker Chinese red and proudly display it. :)
    I meant to add it could be from the 1960s to the 1980s.

    Me too, I had a similar pair when DH and I first got married in the 80s. I bought them in a used furniture store.
