    IMG_5084.jpeg IMG_5085.jpeg IMG_5088.jpeg IMG_5087.jpeg IMG_5086.jpeg Good evening, comrades.

I found this statuette of the son of God from the Black Etruscan tribe. Turns out there were black Etruscans after all!

What surprised me is that it has “Hermitage” written on the back in Russian letters.

I bought it for just €20, but I couldn’t find any similar pieces online.

What do you think—what era is it from? Is it an antique or just a vintage piece?

Could be from the gift shop of The Hermitage art museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. That would be my guess.

Chariot_fitting_Usil_Hermitage_GR-4876.jpg I found out this is an image of the god Usil, and the original is at the Hermitage Museum. So I do think it's from the Museum shop.

Here is a photo of the original from the article linked above. The name of the file indicates that the original is a fitting from a chariot. Caption describing the photo on Wikimedia:
Chariot fitting with the Etruscan Sun god Usil. Said to be from Vulci.

This is a wallet. I bought it for 2€. I don't think it's anything special.

The stag symbol with the elaborate antlers, on the base next to the name, is Scythian. The original is a Scythian golden stag, of which there are several. It is very likely that the Hermitage also has one, because Scythian art is found from Hungary to Siberia.
