Firstly I owe the title of this post to 'Debora' who advised me of the existence of 'Google Lens' on a previous post, wow! what a tool. Anyway as these two vases have been in my loft for at least 25 years since the passing of my grand parents its time I did something with them.

One has two small areas of damage (photos) the second although not damaged on the surface has slight distortion of the metal rim. Height 40cm, widest point 15cm.

If possible I would like confirmation or otherwise that they are Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Vases, late 19th century. I would also ask if the damaged one is repairable? Lastly as one is damaged will they still attract a reasonale price and how would I achieve a fair price, i.e. ebay? Thanks.

They are gorgeous. I think repair would be cost prohibitive if you could even find someone to do it. They present well enough but the slight damage would lower the price a little.
