Some of my weekly finds, I'm having trouble identifying.

I stumbled across a few sales and I'm attracted to a wide range of items. If anyone has any clues about any of these items dates, history, value I'm open ears I'm a young guy but I love learning about early items.

 

Last two items I'm having trouble with.

 

the watch is stering silver and very nice
the buttons are made of shell
the green stones...get thee to a gemologist ..or good jeweler....
the pink one too....
the corkscrew looks like it's from a restaurant ..maybe 50's..60's
the toy car...we always need to see the bottom....what you think is nothing there...could be a clue to it's mfg..

it's nice to see a grab bag of items...but better if they were in the right FORUMS so they would get eyes on them from more folks who may not look at this forum..

just sayin.....

 

Pink stone is low grade sapphire
Green stones look like low grade emerald
Clear blue/green stone may be aquamarine

Yellow stone too out of focus.

 

Ceramic thing has a Japanese border motif

 

Does the ceramic thing have any holes for water drainage or incoming pipes? Have you turned it over for marks?

Thier is a hole like you would hang it and a hole on bottom like drainage

 

Thank you for your response definitely gave me some clues on the age.

 

I actually just found out what this item actually is way off from planter.

 

Ha! That was my first thought, but I didn't think any one outside of Japan would consider it!
