Going through an inherited jewelry box that seems to be the family catch-all for non-fine jewelry, trinkets, dead watches, broken chains, etc. There are some neat things in there so I thought I’d post some in groups...so here’s some pins/brooches.
....I like the fish and the trashy owl the best I think.

Pins like the orange flower with yellow stamens were big around 1967.

The book locket might be sterling? Is anything marked?

I can't really see the 3 little pins at the bottom left corner, but the blue one looks like a bug! Is it? :cat:

It is marked sterling, no hallmarks or anything.

This one is probably sterling as well. 1960s, it might be marked.

What's the back of this look like? Might be a lingerie pin/clip. Also might be sterling and enamel.

Are you selling some of these?
    Owl's are collectible again.

The bone china one may be Aynsley, Crown or Doulton. Common, but pretty and saleable. Enamel one looks Edwardian. Nice.

Most of these would go on my small Christmas tree. I keep all singleton earrings, small pins, broken necklaces, etc., and hang them in and out of the tiny lights.

Well, maybe not that orange flower!

I augment my mostly animal themed ornaments with orphaned chandelier crystals in swags & singles, and sometimes throw on some rhinestone jewellery. I can see doing a tabletop tree entirely in earrings.

Yes, but she is newer as in the last 10 years or so.

That’s a shock given what I had to dig through to find her. Not questioning as I have no expertise, only surprised given the logistics I’m faced with. She definitely is heavier than anything else I’ve come across.
