Been a while since I've posted some of my stuff, so thought I'd show some more:

Jugendstil coffee spoon with stylized gingko leaf motif, gilt .800 silver set with a chrysoprase cabochon, engraved as a souvenir of Baden-Baden, no maker's mark (Déposé is a French term indicating the design is registered, also found on German pieces), suspect this spoon was produced by one of the Pforzheim firms.

Not suggesting my spoon was made by Fahner, just showing a brooch from a Pforzheim maker with some similarities:

An unusual late Meiji era Japanese naturalistic spoon, fully gilt except for the cherry blossom petals, French swan mark, used on imports from non-trade treaty countries starting in 1893, measures 6.25" long - to my eye, strikingly lovely.

Rather nice addition to my collection of plique-à-jour spoons, produced in .800 silver by Vienna maker Georg Adam Scheid, known for their quality enamel work. In excellent condition, the gilding is still bright after more than a century, the stem cast to look like cloisonné, measures 6.5" long

A piece that I love for its simplicity, functionality, and balance in hand - an 1807 Swedish silver ladle with a turned and painted handle, retaining its ivory ball at top. Measures 16.5" long, the bowl 4.5" wide.

A nice sturdy 7" serving spoon by Norwegian maker Th. Marthinsen with a two-tailed siren/mermaid/Mixoparthenos (and yes, I know she looks like a Starbucks logo).

Continuing with another mermaid, this one a late 19th-early 20th century souvenir spoon, silverplate mermaid handle on a scallop shell bowl, produced by the misleadingly named U.S. Sterling Co., nice to see the 'Leavenworth, Kans.', I was born in and lived in Kansas as a kid, my brother is still there and had been stationed at Fort Leavenworth.

Picked up this fairly inexpensive unmarked silverplate fish set with ivory handles in the original case, charmed by the dolphin winding around a trident (knife 12.5", fork 9.5"). The case exterior wasn't in bad condition, only minor damage to the grained paper covering, but the interior was a different story, the navy blue velvet base fine, but the lid's blue silk shattered - so I replaced the silk and am happy with the result.

Beautiful fix on the box! Well done.

So far my absolute favorite the Japanese Meiji flower spoon with the roots coming out into the bowl --- wow.

It's been twenty years since I participated in a discussion about a Gorham piece with an ivory handle, my opinion was a bon-bon or nut spoon and remember thinking that I wanted one like it. Three years later an article on Gorham's ivory pieces was published in The Magazine Antiques identifying the form as a 'bonbon scoop' with six different variants, and six years ago, felt lucky when I happened on one that fit my budget, No. 525, date-marked for 1891 (4-1/2" X 2"). Was surprised recently to find another at a reasonable price, No. 510, date-marked for 1890 (5-3/8" X 2-1/2"), the seller's images didn't show how bright the gilding remained, so a nice surprise. The group pics have the two Gorham pieces along with a coffee spoon in Whiting Mfg.'s lovely No. 2888 'Ivory' pattern (1891 patent D20636).

What a beautiful selection from your collection! I'm always blown away by your superb photo taking skills as well. It really makes everything pop and sing. I would not be able to pick a favorite since all of them are such a high quality. The craftsmanship and design work is soooo very good on each.
