Space age Copper chocolate pot - help!

Hi all, I've become the owner of this chocolate pourer due to a death in the family and have fallen a bit in love with its space age looks - I thought perhaps it was by a designer that was ahead of their time like Christopher Dresser but thus far research has turned up nothing.

Does anyone know one anything about it? Age? Maker? Possible value?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome! Are there any maker's marks or any marks?

Thanks, no I'm afraid it's completely plain, no marks anywhere inside or out!

    Does it have a spout?
It looks like one of those middle eastern coffee maker maker things (sorry, I can't think of the word right now, LOL).

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

So... the spout-looking thing is actually a handle, minus the wooden insert, right?

I keep trying to figure out if we're seeing the other appendage, or...?

What does the seam on the cylinder look like? Also is it tin lined on the inside?

No spout on this one, the handle is solid copper and I believe it's intended as such as opposed to having a wooden one. It's solid copper on the inside as well!

I think you're thinking of a samovar if it's a Russian thingy but it's definitely not one of those!

Any ideas on who could have designed it?

What are the measurements of the top and bottom of the container,a photo of the side seam might help also.

Managed to chat to a guy who's been collecting copper for over 50 years today at a local antiques fair and he said he'd never seen anything like it! The mystery continues...

More photos esp showing lower part where discs meet body etc. Almost looks like an item by amateur or apprentice who had skipped school on the day "making the spout" was covered. Why the xtra disc near the bottom? Why the vertical lip on that disc? Need to see more detail.
