    Love it but I would ditch the twisted wire. It doesn't look original to my eye.

    I am so confused how that wire is staying in place. On one picture, it seems to be attached to the thumb and trailing down the back of the hand, but in the backward-facing photograph, it seems that the statuette is actually clutching it...

    Barn Owl...The backward photo shows it correctly....It is being held,between the thumb & forefinger.

    Not my area of expertise, so take this with a grain of salt... to me, it looks like it has been spray-painted.

    The modeling technique is very modern-looking, the earliest this would have been made is 1970’s, IMO. No collector value, is a nice decorative thing, so who made it doesn’t matter.
