Not much to go on here, but I figured it was at least worth asking about. No markings, ball in center may be aluminum, not sure. Any input is valued, thanks IMG_20200805_160235107 (2).jpg IMG_20200805_160246644 (1).jpg IMG_20200805_160251074 (1).jpg IMG_20200805_160311522 (1).jpg IMG_20200805_160222051 (1).jpg

Egyptian Revival as above. Wonder what the shade looked like.

Agree, Egyptian Revival, which returned every few decades during several centuries. It looks older than Art Deco, I would think 1890s.

The socket and the cord say 50s -60s. The lamp may be older but imo it's made to look older.

    As in repro?

Agree with a 50s date on this. Not really a reproduction as it is just an assemblage of lamp parts.

I think it is even newer. Has the two sizes of prong.
    1980s/90s.

Looks 20's / 30's to me , you can see that original felt under the newer stuff, I think the cord was just replaced ... If I was a betting man I'd bet my $5..... the socket has also been replaced ....

Whatever the age I think it would look good in black enamel.
    Not that that's any help...

Set aside the socket & wiring (newer) - the sleeve between the ball and socket, as well as the harp is 1950s or newer. The casting of the spelter figures also looks newer. I'd say 1960s-70s on this lamp . . possibly 80's.
Cool look to it - a shade and it's ready to go.

I'm late to the party and the lights are off.

I have two of these winged art deco pretties. They are made of spelter and are marked Germany. Here are three from the internet. I bet they are generic accouterments for lamps, clocks, etc.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I missed this discussion when it was posted a few months ago. I like the lamp, even if it is not as old as it appears.
