    Hello all,

I found these in my garage and have absolutely no idea where they might be from nor how old they might be.

Looked online to try and find something similar, but wanted to see if anyone might be able to help identify them.

    Many thanks in advance.

Shockingly sharp . Hopefully these are just decorative souvenirs.
The abuse of horses goes on through the ages. Whoever would think an animal that is so sensitive and generous needs something like this :(. Anyone who uses spurs like this deserves to be firmly planted on the ground and delivered a quick passing kick by the horse!.

Disclaimer : I don't ride horses nor have I ever worn spurs.

They are only good for dancing Chile's national dance, the Cueca. A very graceful dance, where the men's steps always circle wide to avoid the spurs, and the women steer clear of the boots and spurs with small elegant steps, also because the women used to dance in bare feet.
Traditionally the men represented colonials with fancy silver inlaid spurs, and the women barefoot indigenous women.

Sorry Jack, that wasn't meant as a personal dig at you, just a general rant about them :)

I'm very happy with them being used for that :). The potential for lacerated ankles is very high I imagine!:hilarious:

Those boots are pretty sturdy, and the women keep the men at arm's length.;)
