This cute little poodle stands 4 1/4" tall. There is a partial orange colored stamp, but all that is legible is Stafford Ware England. I was wondering how old, 19th Century?
I know these were made a lot, and in different periods.

@Debora I was on that site for a while but couldn't find the mark. Where did you look on the page?

I'm certainly no expert but it does at least appear "vintage". I agree with the info mentioned... that it is a 20th century example. (Not comments of any real help, I know, sorry!)
I just wanted to pop in and say a reverse image search turned up quite a few examples and I love the description one person used for the textured effect: "coleslaw". I've not heard that before, LOL.

Found it. I guess the color of the mark doesn't matter would be the only question. They say black.

Staffordshire figurine reproductions can be be antique! Yes, this seems a 20th c production. However, original molds from older factories were used so sometimes the repros look original.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Cute! Reminds me of my neighbor's small poodle, but she doesn't have the traditional poodle clip. Just nicely kept fur.
