Google lens is telling me this is Royal Crown Derby but I don't think so. It's heavy. There are no marks to speak of, just some tiny numbers and a few squiggles that I think are pattern or decorator marks? Anyone have any ideas on the maker or age?

    thanks so much,
    Janice

1st Dibs is usually dreaming. The colors are kinda sorta flow blue era and kinda sorta imari, and country of origin for most European pottery wasn't routinely marked until 1890. (Us Yanks held out until after WWII if you can believe it.) I highly doubt Derby too.

It's not Derby but it's a good tureen. That pattern number fits in with the Ridgway style of numbering.

I'd still be a reseller if I'd gotten those prices. They cater to the 1% who aren't affected as much by political shenanigans. File under: feelings I will never know.
