    I am having a hard time making out the signature mark.. any ideas?

    The mark on Tricia's looks like :ELL, but maybe the : is meant to be a P?

    I just looked, I think you're right on with PELL,
    the brooch looks identical..But I also seen another exact match but there was no markings at all.. weird..
    is there a differencertain between pin and brooch?

    Not all companies made their jewelry, some had them made to specifications by "jobbers". Weiss is an example, they did not make their jewelry. I don't know if Pell did or didn't make their jewelry.

    Anyway, the "jobber" would often sell unbranded versions of the jewelry they made for clients. That could be why you found an identical piece with no mark.
