Featured Sterling and amethyst glass ring, Art Deco or just a revival piece?

    Hi all! This ring was amongst an auction lot of jewelry that I won recently. It was black with tarnish, looks a bit better now! It is US size 8, sterling and glass. Is it an Art Deco ring or a more modern 1980s revival piece, for example? My gut says a little older but I do find it hard to tell sometimes :woot:.     I think this is a more modern piece in a setting reminiscent of an older style.

    Looks great on your hand, and size 8 is a really good size. (Maybe because 8 is my finger size?)

    Wait for other comments, too. :)

    Thanks all! My gut in this instance, was a little out to lunch on it being older :shame:. Oh well, always learning.

    Fairly recent to my eye, 80s or 90s. Very pretty thing.
