Thai sterling enamel earrings featuring Manimekhala, the Thai Goddess of lightning, and of sailors, if I am correct.
Either the maker or a badly stamped SIAM? Thai jewellery is often stamped Siam, an older name for Thailand.

She is very popular in Thailand, and is often featured on Thai enamel jewellery.

Maybe you mean Sujatha? They don't make Thai souvenir Manimekhala earrings, but replicas of traditional Indian wedding jewellery. I suspect they weren't even around when these earrings were bought, 1960s-70s.

But that clearly reads STER IND
    STERLING INDIA

They are called Tela Naari, the model earring is called Sujata.
The logo in the link you posted clearly says it:

So Tela Naari, and they sell several earring models, one of them is called Sujata. Not Siam.;)
As I said before, the mark is badly stamped, but it is meant to say SIAM and STERLING. At the risk of repeating myself again, it is a common mark on Thai jewellery

No Indian jewellery manufacturer has ever made Thai souvenir Manimekhala jewellery, the Thai are perfectly capable of doing that themselves. Not even if they are called Tela Naari.:playful:
