Featured Sterling bead necklace

    I bought this broken necklace at a yard sale on Friday for $1.00....whaaa? Are people crazy?
    It's probably Navajo, but I'm not
    100% sure.

    I couldn't wait to take it home and fix it. The chain was broken so I had to solder it back together, then restring. It turned out great!

    Photos too out of focus and dark to see how they were made.The beads have been commercially made for over 40 years.

    OK, Holly. I took these pictures just for you.
    They are hand soldered bench beads. And they passed the acid test for sterling.

    Just terrific. What a steal and IMO definitely Navajo and yes I know that plenty of Anglo jewelers made beads. I have a similar length lozenge bead necklace that I wear all the time. Bought it for $30 with the matching earrings at a yard sale and found the same piece, same artist listed on ebay for $750. I thought that price was “on drugs” but still think we both got major deals!
