These were in a box with two pairs of old cuff links at the thrift the other day. They're about 1 1/4" long. I haven't weighed them yet.
I have several questions. Are they fur clips? They look like they would destroy a dress. What style are they? They don't look quite look Art Deco to me. Is this the original box? They look a little awkward in it - too far apart. Any comments welcomed. Thanks!

I'm more inclined to say 1940s, during the war. Sterling was in higher use then than after the war as other metals commonly used in costume jewelry were needed for many weapons-related items. If you had the Napier jewelry book, it would probably nail it down. Very nice. I think they could also work on a coat--heavy to pierce wool and they'd stand out against it better than the thick pile of a fur.

    Thanks everyone.
I need help - thanks for that link. The block lettering started in the 1920s. I notice that on ebay, sellers of Napier clips all describe them as 1920s. I'm just not sure, based on this design.
    Your suggestion makes sense, Tracy.
