Featured Sterling Napier Fur Clips (?) - Age, Style?

Usually the pins would curve at the ends and clip back towards the piece itself, but the older ones say that they just pierce the fur enough, so as not to damage the pelt. So, maybe that speaks to the age of yours?
Some have clasps on both pins like brooches, as well...or fit into a single catch, like a barette?

Isnt that called a Lovers Knot ? I could see these being 50s-60s .

 

I'm more inclined to say 1940s, during the war. Sterling was in higher use then than after the war as other metals commonly used in costume jewelry were needed for many weapons-related items. If you had the Napier jewelry book, it would probably nail it down. Very nice. I think they could also work on a coat--heavy to pierce wool and they'd stand out against it better than the thick pile of a fur.
