Featured Sterling Shakers Shape?

    Hi All,
    These belong to my friend and we are trying to figure what are they. She thinks mushrooms, I'm not sure, maybe a sheath of wheat?
    Hallmarks are William Adams 1915 Birmingham. this is the only photo I have
    any ideas appreciated

    They look a bit like standing sheaves of wheat to me.

    Or maybe bunches of some kind of flowers? (See the "ribbon" holding them together?)
