Sterling silver gemstone necklace

    I got this today with some other jewelry. This piece is marked sterling on the clasp, no other makers names etc. can be found.
    Anybody know who might have made this necklace ?

    It's American, but beyond that I haven't the faintest. It could have been made by any number of factories, including a lot of forgotten jobbers who made pieces to order for department stores and five and dimes. Someone else may know it, but I'm not holding out much hope.

    Okay, Thanks for your advice. yeah I'm trying to just focus on nice things now because my home is packed with lots of clothing, art, glass, etc.
