Featured Sterling Thimble Untermeyer Robbins?

I found this little thimble. Not sure if it was my Moms or Grandmothers. It is a #5. inside it is marked sterling with the conjoined letters UR. That's all I know. Anyone know the age of this?

Well, if it is Untermeyer Robbins, they're listed in the 1922 Jeweler's Circular. But they are not listed in Rainwater or on either 925-1000 or Sterlingflatwarefashions, so it's tough to say.

Now - the UR mark in the 1922 JC has a U that is more "pinched" at the top than this one looks. But there's no other UR mark for this kind of thing anywhere else. Shrug

 

My photograph of the mark is tough to get. here is exactly what i see for the mark except mine has the size on the outside

So I am thinking that this wasn't my Moms or my Grandmothers. A #5 is awfully small for a grown woman. Must have been for a child? I spoke with my Father and he thinks my Mom just bought it somewhere but he doesn't remember. He said Sell it boy...
