Can anyone identify the marks on this sterling topaz mustache/ bow pendant? (I apologize for the quality of the marks!; they are pretty teensy!; a simple steer in the right direction would be good!). Thank you!

French boar's head? Guessing & working from memory. How do you know they are topazes?

White topaz certainly a possibility. When clean, they should glitter & refract light like diamond. The French also do fabulous work with glass & glass paste, so another possibility.

Do you think the one mark is the boar's head? If so, other is maker's mark, which we may not be able to identify. How's your French?

It looks like it is meant to be worn on a ribbon.
I don't see the boar's head, but my eyesight is far from perfect.

Work seems a bit clunky to me for France, but the tininess of the marks & the presence of 2 always make me think French first.

Believe me, I know how hard it can be. This is when a USB microscope can come in handy.
