    I was hoping someone might be able to tell me if this is N. A. and what the maker might be.
    I think the mark is JP?

    Very nice Modernist style. There are several makers who use that joined JP mark.
    It could be Jane Yikaazba Popovich, Navajo, but I will have to check some more. Jane Yikaazba Popovich does stamp 'sterling' as well as her initials, and not always in the exact same configuration. In this case sterling is on the other side.

    That is who I was thinking at first. i looked at a lot of her work and some of the JP stamps looked similar to mine. (the uneven strike)

    Yes, it is a nice chunk. But the value is more than the weight, you've got a good design, and a name.:)
