Stoneware Ink? Bottle

    Here’s what Crockersfarm thinks:

    “Thanks a lot for your photos. We feel this is probably a North Carolina example (salt-glazed as opposed to alkaline-glazed) from around the latter part of the 19th century. Unfortunately, though, without a really great attribution (which we would not be able to provide in this case), while this could theoretically sell for a few hundred dollars, it could also bring well under $100, so it would probably not be worth it for you to have us sell it for you.”

    I still have not found an American piece with that shape.
