    Star Stoneware Crooksville, Ohio?

    Thanks. Seems likely to be by Star company although I can’t find anything in that shape.

    I got a little confused now. There was also a North Star Stoneware company that used a star mark.

    Lehner's says the Crooksville Star Stoneware made utilitarian jugs, etc., so that sounds good, and one mark is recessed and about an inch wide, with no numbers or words. The star for North Star had a letter in each point, spelling out North, and they were only in business 4 years.
    They did make crocks, jugs, and bowls though. Yeah.
