I have had this decanter for many years, I purchased it in a London auction because I loved it. It is hand-painted, which must have taken an eternity and the colors are extremely vibrant, pink flowers with gold butterflies. It has no markings I thought it may have been early Murano but I have not come across anything even similar. Please help identify it as I'm completely out of ideas.

Yep - might not have one. Doesn't mean it isn't Moser. You can check out Harrach as well or just do a random search of Bohemian or Austrian enameled glass.

Thank you Laura, I'll do a complete research on the decanter. I feel after looking on the sites you mentioned it certainly looks Moser.:happy::happy:

Don't be concerned if you can't verify that piece. Only someone wanting to buy it cheaply would say it wasn't Moser/bohemian. If only there were a way to google the products of Novy Bor. And Karlovy Bor.

Try searching "torus" decanter. (I wouldn't discount Venetian.)

Wowser!! I wonder how you would clean the inside if you had to? I've seen flexible decanter brushes at Wms Sonoma. I take it this is a work of art and not meant to be used? It's beautiful.
