Strange marks on gold post back earrings

    22 karat gold is .9167 pure, so that mark makes zero sense if they're real gold. I honestly can't read the photos, even up close with my glasses off. They're not European for sure.

    It is possible that it is 22K (915) for export maybe? Screw back would give further credibility to it. Probably India. 331 could be an internal style number type thing. Would need to take them down and have them tested if you don't know the origin :)
