strange teapot

    Hi, there is no lid for it... the interior is like a funnel shape.

    I don't think they are numbers I think it is Chinese or Japanese. Almost looks like 1 small in Kangi...but IDK.

    Very interesting. This way you would not have to leave the leaves in the teapot. Maybe this was before they invented tea balls.

    Many of these are German, Blue Onion pattern, but others know more about these.

    JUST A THOUGHT!....the spout is quite wide...Could this be a version of an invalid feeder?

    I agree, known in German as Zwiebelmuster or onion pattern. Royal Copenhagen also decorated porcelain with the pattern, if I remember correctly.
