    Hello,

A few more treasures laying around that have stumped me I am hoping someone can help me identify. The mark looks like it would be familiar and easily recognized yet I am drawing a blank. The diameter is 5". Thanks!

Reminds me of a Chinese Ge-type glazed brush-washer, but with those decorations on the body and makings at base, defiantly not!

Hopefully, someone will come along and make the ID.

Hm. I think it might be Italian: one of those pseudo Capodimonte marks perhaps.

Am I the only one seeing a chicken/hen/rooster/turkey/bird as part of the decoration?

Also, is the mark written in grease pencil?

    Hello,

The mark does not scratch off/smear so I dont think grease pencil but it is on the rough clay base - probably paint.
