    P1.jpg P2.jpg P3.jpg P3.jpg P4.jpg 20200123_181943.jpg 20200123_181943.jpg Good Evening,

I don't suppose for one minute that this item is antique - but I wondered if anyone could help me with the maker of this fabulous necklace?

I think these are real coloured freshwater pearls - though I am no expert

I don't suppose they can be? This necklace is 72" in length

There is a fabulous charm attached to the clasp. a large round pearl, whether glass or not with white stones around.

The clasp is marked on both sides with a stamp - now to me it looks like a small letter e, but it could perhaps be a makers mark, initials perhaps if looked sideways on

    Weight: 85g

This pearls are on a string - not a nylon cord, or elastic

Any help appreciated - does anyone recognise this work?

    TIA, Lorna

I tried to show the full images - but your system here told me they were too big, hence why they were cropped

Agree with this. With lots of visual impact but not great value.

thats fine, thank you. I have tested the clasp with my acid testing kit - I suspect it is silver or it could possibly be white gold. My acid testing kit left not mark at all on the metal, which leaves me to my conclusion

That mark on the clasp looks like Pierre Cardin. Probably rhodium.

Ah, yes - you could be correct there! I'll take a more in depth look at that possibility later on :)

In all honesty, I dont really think this compares to anything by Pierre Cardin. I will keep looking :)
