    Approximately 24" high x 9" wide.
It's been electrified, and I don't know if that means it's ruined or not, but what would you say the style is?, and what is that critter, and symbol on the top piece? Anything else you can add is wonderful & thanks for your time.:)

In my opinion this is a 1920s "Spanish Revival" light fixture, possibly from a movie theatre, or the porte cochere etc. of a rather grand house, etc.

20s-30s and always electric. While this would certainly work in a Spanish setting, I think more medieval inspired. Think probably from a Tudor revival home. Agree that the critter is a lion.

Some decorator out in California would drool all over that. It might not move here at all; New Englanders never really did Spanish style architecture.

That lion looks a bit bedraggled. Rather than a staff of shield, must be a cane.

Seriously, in the 3rd pic it looks more like a shield.
