    Beautiful Persian/Iranian Qajar dynasty, partially tinned copper, handcrafted in the 19th century.

    A gentle polish is fine, it won't wear the tin off, if that is what you are wondering. The layer of tin is fairly thick, and the craftsmanship is very good.
    These beauties are really sought after, make sure you give it a safe place where it won't fall and be dented.:nailbiting: The slightly bent rim is no problem.

    The Copper appears to be brightening is this ok? Or should I leave it dull?

    Best solution jewelry polish, has no acid ammonia or abrasives. Will shine the highlighted area but not remove the heavier oxidation. Imho

    Also, do not use the metal restorer, unless you want it looking brand new. It will remove all tarnish
