This is taller and nicer looking than most eggcups. Stands 4 7/8" tall. Has a floral design and gold trim. Unmarked. Does anyone recognize this?

So, I would guess British, likely a Staffordshire factory, and anywhere from 1920s to 1970s. It is a double egg cup — one end for a boiled egg and the other for egg out of the shell (I think!).
