    She's 16 x 15 x 9 inches wide.....& heavy .
She can't be that old ...so says the crackle....& she's bust at the tail...the ear....and a couple riding trim pieces.
    But she's beautiful.
Is she worth fixing.....& how best to do that ?

    Any idea's welcomed.

She is lovely. A bit T'ang meets merry-go-round.
If you have somewhere to put her, give repair a try, with all that crackling you probably won't notice it.

I second AJ's advice and observation. I love both Tang horses and carousel horses and think it is lovely!:)

I third what AJ said, but if you don't have a spot for it if it was fixed then I'm sure the squirrels would enjoy it. :)

Btw, you do realize I've also been looking at things in the background again, don't you?:D Hope it's not all going to the squirrels....

That's very pretty - if you're going to keep it, you can buy some Milliput and make the repairs. If you haven't used it before, it's a two-part clay that comes in different colors to match your project. Just mix the two parts by rolling in your hands and then form the new pieces. You can use sculpting tools or popsicle sticks. It also works to reconnect the broken pieces together and it dries hard. You can sand and paint it after it dries and nobody will know it was broken. I've fixed many things with it.

    Thank you for your thoughts....
It's a project that's been sitting in the back room & I wasn't going to post till I took proper photo's ....but last night I just felt like I needed a push....one way or another..!

    Sorry...or not...for the background..! ;)
Top left is a stunning 7 foot totem pole.
Next to that, with wings sitting at the base , is a colorful Indonesian carved Fake NWC model pole ...purchased for research.

I love Tang horses. One of my first colored pencil drawings was from a book of pieces in the San Francisco art museum. IMG_3747.JPG
