The use of the plywood made me think it isn't old, but I deed find some antique tea caddies online that also had plywood ...
As I haven't been able to find another like this one with Google, I have no idea if this is Dutch (like the other one I posted), what style it is, nor if it's old/new.
    Your help please :)

Nice thick plywood can date to the 19th century. That said, those are machine-made screws and a piano hinge. I'd think it's pre-WWII but not from much before the Boer War if it's that old.

    Thanks!
    Pre-WWII is better than I expected :)

Is there a specific name for this shape/style? With Google Lens, I'm getting sarcophagus tea caddies, as the side view of those do indeed look like this one...

Tea caddies aren't my thing but I would say going by the macassar ebony 1910's-20's?

Not English, imo. I wonder if someone made that if you see what I mean. Might be thirties might even be fifties.

Looks like a repro to me. I haven't seen this shape before, but would guess it is a copy of a Biedermeier caddy?
