Featured Tea Cart

    16085114999684427099330773174942.jpg Hello, I'm new here. I have come across this Tea Cart and have no background on it. I don't know if its even worth anything. Can anyone help me out?

    Have you tried looking in the drawer (or on the outside of the drawer) for a maker's label or impressed mark?

    The red paint or stain looks unusual to me. Don't think I've seen one of these with that kind of finish, they are usually "brown wood".

    Looks like a 1940's- 50's piece. The red appearance may be sunlight effecting color in photo - wood may be mahogany. Not a lot of demand for these in the market. An antique one would have some demand.

    The rest of the photo doesn’t seem to be affected by sunlight...I’m thinking it’s a reddish stain...finish is scratched on lower shelf...may have been stripped and refinished....

    Except for the color, this is exactly like one my parents has in 1950-70s.
