I plan to clean and season it and put dried flowers in it. I couldn’t find many examples of this spout. The only example I found of a spout like this was early 1800s - but there may be other examples I missed.

It has a slight “pear shape” maybe putting it 1810-1835 from what I read??

The other picture is of the teapot spout I’m seeing more often.

    Any thoughts?

Kettles have handles on the top teapots on the side - almost always

Important distinction. I’m guilty of using the terms interchangeably. :D

Aren't these humidifiers, meant to go on a wood burning stove. Not teapots or kettles.

I don’t see any numbers on it. The rusty one is mine ;-) 6180DB1C-E959-444B-A770-1AA4FCBFB5D5.jpeg E8372D28-DC0F-4151-BD5D-9C82211975CE.jpeg
