I've had this for a while and if I remember correctly, I couldn't find much about it. So, I just put it up and forgot about it. It's all made out of copper. On the back is a sticker that says "Tengu Copper Products LTD". I can't seen to find any information or find anything else like these. Has anyone heard about this business or seen anything like this?
I just read that Kitwe is sixty four kilometres west of Ndola in Zambia. Kitwe, the hub of the Copperbelt and the principle industrial and commercial centre of the area. The city owes its existence to the copper mining industry.
Might have something to do with this guy . . . (scroll down a bit) http://andrewmulenga.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html Might not. And then I found this, but I don't have an account . . . http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-zambian-african-carved-wood-269875430
Seems like Quentin was more into silver jewelry and spoons. It would be nice if it was from his hands but I'm thinking it wasn't. With the tag on the back, no sig of any kind and finding out that this place is known for large amounts of copper, I'm wondering if it's a tourist piece.
I found a couple more items of theirs, but no information. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271655364855 http://www.ship-expert.com/index.ph...type=Аукцион&itemID=181541588429&type=Auction
