Terra Cotta Oil Lamp: How Ancient is the Pattern?

    I have no illusions about the age of this lamp; but where the old pattern developed, a when, is what interests me. It is unmarked.

    It's about 6" long, 3" wide. 1 3/8" thick; the wick hole is just under 1/4", the fill hole is 1/2". Weight, dry, is 7 oz. Thanks for lookin'!
