Featured Terracotta Hen

Good evening
I found this in a secondhand store. It is made out of smove terracotta. It has a sticker saying Sieurs, Dorpstraat 100, Stellenbosch on it. Not certain if it was an art gallery or the maker.

I thought Stellenbosch was a town, or does the name Dorpstraat date from when it was a village?

Really love the bird, but can't help.

 

Stellenbosch = town. Dorpstraat = main street. Postal code = 1973 or later. Here's what 100 looks like now.

Dorpstraat = village street, hoofdstraat = main street, at least in Dutch. But you probably meant that the main street of Stellenbosch is called Dorpstraat.

Ok...sorry if the sticker confused people. I ask if Sieurs is the maker or the gallery name. I already know where Dorpstraat is in Stellenbosch. Livedin Stellenbosch for 12 years.

I would assume Sieurs was the retailer. But, if you're still in Stellenbosch, you can visit your local library and confirm. I (for one) can find no information to do so on the internet.)
