I’m a vintage human being who’s been collecting since her grandparents to auctions instead of playgrounds and still have an appetite for knowledge. Hoping to find people who will teach me the thing I don’t know

Welcome, Susan, from a vintage guy!

This is not my area of expertise, but I'm sure people will want to see more pics, especially of the markings. Providing dimensions always helps.

You may get better results posting in a more appropriate forum, too. i.e. Metalware.

Hi Susan. Lots of us are vintage & some of us are tanked. Think you might have measures instead of drinking vessels. He should be asleep now, but I think @daveydempsey knows a thing or 2 about these.

    Sleep is for wimps :hilarious:

Not enough information or pics to determine what they are.
They look Pewter, measures usually don't have handles.

Don't drink tomato juice from them, it leeches the lead from the pewter and poisons you.

The handles are not suited to holding much weight for very long, & look at the lip on the large one. You would have to be very thirsty to drink from that.

@Susan Frank can you show us, in a new dedicated thread, the promised
so many marks crowns on large small on fleur dis lis?

Welcome to the forum, Susan Frank.
You didn't mention the size of your pewter items, but they look like what we call 'kroes' in Dutch, bigger than a regular mug, and used for wine or beer. You will find similar ones on old Dutch paintings, like the ones by Jan Steen.
Anyway, post them in 'metalware' with more detailed photos, and you will have more eyes on them.:)

Welcome, Susan. If you would like help on the "markings" you'll need to take pictures of them and post the pictures to this thread. We'd love to help. but can't do much without pictures of the "many marks."
