I see Hai Bai Dulong. But I haven't found anything that would go with that.

(and I assume the piece is an homage of a sort to Picasso's "The Old Guitarist")

That is what I see as well. The signature looks like a 'signaturified' version of Hai Bai Dulong.
A Chinese(?) name would make sense, since the instrument she is playing looks more like a Chinese ruan than a guitar:

 

Yes; despite the title, it is certainly not a guitar.
