I am keeping 4 pieces from the jewelry I found in my Mom's a desk. One is a small sterling locket with my Mom's initials engraved on it. Initials make things difficult to sell or pass on. The other is a sterling pendant she wore often. Dad gave it to her and it symbolizes her zodiac sign, Aquarius. The other sterling piece is a pendant/brooch made by a local First Nations artist. The modern porcelain pendant is Royal Copenhagen.

I love the locket! Lockets are secretive and mysterious.

That raven is pretty cool. These may not be the most valuable pieces in dollar terms (or Euros, Pounds etc) but they mean something.

Not big initials, but single engraved lines. I think the J extends more than the other 2 initials. Cool if it is Travis Henry!

Have you considered getting one of the glass jewelry caskets for these pieces? I think they are too lovely to put into a jewelry box only to see once in a while. The glass case would allow you to see them every day.
