I know a lot of McCoy is fake but these seem very much consistent with the time period / quality of items in the home in general. So I’m slightly more optimistic than if I found them at a flea market.

Thoughts on authenticity, period and approximate value?

    many thanks!

I don't know, the very white clay on the bottom makes me wonder if they are new. You could check here, I'm not sure where to look but maybe you can contact them and send them your photos?

I was puzzled by your comment and then looked at the photo - it looks really bright white! It’s my camera. I’m trying to get a better shot but it still seems lighter in the photo than it really appears. That said, it most definitely is white clay that looks yellowed a bit - not some other color clay. Those look fine to me. Not one of the pieces I've ever seen copied.

There is apparently a really good Facebook McCoy Pottery public group out there where you can post pics and get knowledgeable opinions.

The one with the big membership is $25 to join. Not sure I want to pay that as I’m not really a collector of McCoy specifically, I just buy what I like and occasionally it’s McCoy.

But the buy / sell group is free. I applied to join that. It will be fun to see what people have/what they are selling it for.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
