I'm sure these are reproductions and new, but you gotta start somewhere.

The first one has a music box, which is cool.

Opened the music box and it's a Sankyo from Japan. Doesn't have any marking for the glass maker though.

The music box beer steins were popular in the 50s/60s, I believe.

When collecting steins, you want the tops to fit properly. Don't pay high prices for this type unless you are madly in love with it.

The Gerz is newer, but I always like that shape better than the tall thin ones. And Gerz usually makes a nice stein.

This is a great site and may help you learn about what you like

They we're all at Goodwill, so they were very cheap. Yeah the Gerz just feels solid.

as long as you get them cheap, why not.
IMO it's money down the drainpipe to buy modern stuff, especially with Sankyo music boxes. they will not keep their values.
better buy one Mettlach (villeroy boch) from before 1930s and you'll have more joy and place.

I'm with fid, I would save the money otherwise spent on cheap recent stuff and hunt for a genuine older one. Even if you're just starting out you can do that, older ones can still be found for a nice price. Your collection will grow anyway, trust me.;)

1.99 each for the two tall skinny ones and 3.99 for the Gerz. Not sweating that.

Glad you like your new steins. Breweriana was big in the 70s, and your steins may very well date to that decade.

As you grow into it, you may become more discerning as to age and value. Those old Mettlach steins are beautiful. Also costlier, of course.

Like you, I've just got a few steins. But I'd rather have one Mettlach than a bunch of newer ones, JMHO.

Mozart - Eine Kleine Nachtmusik is the song, or so the pdf tells me from the stamp on the cylinder.
