Thermometer - Information wanted

    Hi,
    I have come across an old thermometer when clearing out my father's house.
    On the glass tube are the words:
    Trakranen Brothers Limited
    Or
    Tr'akranen Brothers Limited
    See photo.

    Has anyone ever come across this company as I can find no record of them?

    There are several records of a Dutch thermometer manufacturer Trakanen & Co, but they are all in endless lists of patents, shipping notices etc.
    But it could be a route to follow.
