There arent enough words to describe how deeply I crave 99% the contents of that house. Im so green with envy you couldnt spot me in a lettuce field . So much loveliness.

LOL that is a wonderful saying.

I also noticed all those scarves.... I think I see a Julia Child cookbook there too.

Goodness. What a spread. I wonder if prices will be sky high?? They seem to know what they have.

Would love to go, though! :watching:

Looks like these folks only acquired the best and displayed them nicely. Love most of the glass. We have one piece by one of their glass makers. Like the scarves, too, and the beautiful perfume bottles.

Suspect there may be guards at this sale.

Nope! Not a single thing that interests me, a house full of trinkets!

They've always got good sales! I get calls to conduct sales in Atlanta, but it's too far for us to travel (we're about 145 miles away in Augusta), so I always refer clients to Peachtree Battle.

Here's the other one they're doing this weekend. Always quality things! https://www.estatesales.net/GA/Marietta/30067/2744283

OK, if you say so, this must be a female oriented type thingy, I wouldn't drive around the corner for either sale.:hilarious:
There is no old furniture! :(

We get them with good furniture too, James! These two just don't have any. :hilarious:

I guess, not a big fan of Atlanta, a very plastic-type town. Did a couple of jobs there a few years back, HATED the drive (240 miles from me), about the only good thing I remember is, Atlanta does lunch pretty well.
Looks like nothing has changed! :hilarious:

I hear ya! Atlanta is too fast and too big for me. I'm staying right here where it's slow and old. And we've got good lunch too. :)

Atlanta has all these little satellite neighborhoods that are BRAND NEW and very plastic-looking plus, they ALL LOOK THE SAME!
One of my fav places to eat there........Little Alley Steak in Roswell, it rivals Peter Luger in NYC in beef terms.
And, since they are opening one here in Charlotte soon...............

It IS GOOD, their beef comes from Lintz in Chicago, very high-end beef! And the twice-baked potatoes are to die for.

Yummy stuff, I am not a big meat eater, but I could do some damage to that food right about now.

Yum. I'll have to try it next time we're in Atlanta. Also have Fogo de Chao on the dining list.
