Thoughts on an ornate brass mirror?

Only have the auction photo at the moment and wont have the back photo until I can figure out a mount to photograph it on. It is 80cm high and 36cm at its widest and weighs a hefty 6.3Kg. Takes 13mm diameter candles. The screws are rusty slotted types apart from one replaced with a phillips head and some new bolts have been fitted to hold the lower scrolls. The fixture that fits in the uppermost loop was missing but I have made a replacement for that. The curved mirror beveling at the top is a little rough which made wonder if this was an early mirror or an over the top mid century Italian job.
    Any ideas??

Well that is stunning. The mirrors will reflect the light and flames from the candles. What is that bottom bar for?

Ok. First up the mirror is one single piece with a brass loop in front giving the appearance of two mirrors. Got the back pictures and the more I look at it I'm becoming convinced this has been messed around with for quite some time.
