    Thoughts on this painting I found at thrift store yesterday?
    And is his name Skolad? A Viking? :)

    I also think Skold or Skald.

    Plus, imo, a better piece than many that cross this forum.

    Have to wonder who's going to buy it.


    And in my head, Jesus lifts his eyes to his Heavenly Father and whispers, "Dude, WTF? Crown of Thorns? Really?"

    Or, "Dude, what's up with my right ear?"

    The crown of thorns is nicely done, part of his right eyebrow is missing or the left one is too long, he looks like he has a left bosom, and that ear ?? ... Actually the painting is beautiful in it's own simplistic way ... Joy. :)

    Oh yes, in many ways it is absolutely wonderfully marvelously horrifying.

    Still, I do think the painter has some skills.

    I definitely do not think factory painting, though. I think student. Or hobbyist.

    Yes, I think hobbyist too .. I mean I wouldn't want it or anything, if it wasn't for the ear, eyebrow, left bosom .. and dreadful paint job .. wellll
