Reverse image searches on this green flag mark show examples being sold as Noritake and, whilst I am sure that it is Japanese porcelain, this mark is not in Kovel’s or my book on Nippon porcelain .

Does anyone recognise it? Vase is 8.5” tall. These are seller’s pics

Huh. Nada from Google lens, as usual, but I'm wondering if that's an importer's mark? Never seen it before.

Same mark, but nothing to back-up claim that it's Noritake ...

Maybe the "proof" is that they found another item with the same design that had the Noritake mark, and simply assumed it would still be Noritake.
Here's another camel plate https://www.ebay.com/itm/387352194506, but this one does have the Noritake mark

I understand your very reasonable point.

If it were my sale, I would word it so the flag mark has been seen on similar Noritake items.

As Kentworld noted, it may be an importer's mark, but the ownership or reason for it is still unknown.

Thanks again for looking at this . I think I will simply sell as Noritake style or Nippon style.

Interesting question, though. May I copy the photo of the mark and see if I can find any further info?
