Featured Three more auction goodies, glass necklace, tiny ring and chatelaine chain?

Hi all! Hoping you can help me with some info on three of my latest auction pick ups.

1. Glass and brass necklace, 18"L. Listed as Venetian glass, is this accurate? 1920s-30s?
2. Tiny sterling ring US size 4.5. Frosted (?) glass and marcasites. Any idea of maker and/or age?
3. I think this is a chatelaine chain, is that correct? Unmarked sterling. What age could it be, Victorian or Edwardian?

I can't quite get a read on the necklace. It looks newer than the 1920s/30s if only because the colors don't match the era. That center dangle looks newer too. The chatelaine and ring both look like newer interpretations of old designs.

 

Like Ruth my first thought was that the centrepiece of the necklace and the dangles look newer than the rest. Absolutely gorgeous piece.
Could the ring be or be trying to be camphor glass?
The chatelaine I have no idea about except that the hook on mine is wider.
Take anything I suggest with a pinch of salt though as its always amateur hour over here.

 

one of the chatelaine's rings is newer...but that chain is odd and stylish enuf to be older.......

I think it is. And 1920s imo.

The chatelaine is charming, but the hook doesn't look like a chatelaine hook to me. The shield shape is something you'd find on a watch fob, but fobs don't have two loops on top and bottom, that I know of.

 

Thank you! The necklace just feels like 1920s to me, although I know some think it looks newer. I can't seem to find glass quite like it!

I didn't think to test the "glass" on the ring but just did and it is coming up as quartz I believe!

 

And why not? It looks nice that way.
Here in the Netherlands we have bracelets made of old silver bible clasps, a similar look. I have a Frisian one from the early 19th century.

I’d think bohemian. I do think perhaps the central long blue dangle has been replaced. The colour is off as is the setting.
